Mediations

If your matter is listed for mediation in Sydney, there is often no need for your solicitor to spend a day travelling. National Probate & Estates Group is based at Hyde Park, near the Supreme Court of NSW and the major succession law Chambers, and can attend mediations on your firm’s behalf — allowing you to save valuable time and travel costs while maintaining conduct of the matter.

We regularly assist with estate disputes, family provision claims and other succession law mediations in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and other Sydney venues.

White-Label & Overflow Support

Whether your firm requires assistance with a single task or ongoing support, we can work discreetly in the background while you remain the client-facing solicitor. We regularly assist with the preparation of probate applications, affidavits, Court documents, legal advice, evidence and correspondence, and can provide additional capacity during periods of staff leave, unexpected litigation, urgent deadlines or increased workloads.

Cross-Border Estate Administration

National Probate & Estates Group has established systems and processes to efficiently administer estates with overseas assets or beneficiaries. We regularly assist with the establishment of estate bank accounts, the receipt and distribution of estate funds, and the use of specialist foreign exchange providers to facilitate secure and cost-effective international payments. These streamlined processes allow instructing firms to confidently manage cross-border estate administration without needing to develop the infrastructure themselves.

Why Law Firms Engage Us

Law firms engage us because they require specialist succession law expertise without disrupting their existing client relationship. Whether you require a one-off Court appearance, assistance with a complex estate dispute, or support with the preparation of a probate, letters of administration or reseal application, we can work seamlessly alongside your firm. If your client wishes to continue dealing exclusively with your practice, we are equally comfortable working entirely in the background, keeping you informed throughout the matter while your firm remains the primary point of contact.

Typical Instructions We Receive

A Melbourne firm requires a solicitor to attend a mediation in Sydney.
