Gennadi is one of National Probate’s directors, managing the day to day running of all contested and uncontested matters across Australia’s multiple states. Throughout his legal career he has worked at several estate law firms, focusing exclusively on estate administration and litigation.

Gennadi has spent the last 8 years drafting and managing both contested and uncontested applications at various Supreme Courts around Australia. He also acts for estates and plaintiffs in contested probate, equity and family provision proceedings. Over the years, Gennadi has advised and acted for Public and Private trustees organisations across Australia, and interstate and international law firms around the world. He and his team are well equipped to handle even the most complex administration applications and estate suits.

Some of Gennadi’s recent experience includes:

• Obtaining orders invoking the ‘forfeiture rule’ and the retrospective severance of jointly-held assets in circumstances of a spouse killing.
• Being appointed by the Supreme Court of NSW as a trustee for the management of funds on behalf of a disabled minor.
• Defending against probate suit in circumstances of a suicide-letter will, and missing will application.
• Settling both claims for and against estates in family provision proceedings.
• Commencing and defending will-validity proceedings in circumstances indicating a lack of mental capacity.
